Education about Dementia for Families and Friends

.Alzheimer’s Australia WA offers a range of government funded workshops and courses that will enable friends and family members to better understand dementia, and to support and communicate with the person with diagnosis to enhance well-being.

Workshops cover a wide range of topics including meaningful engagement, communication, adapting your home, introducing creative arts, grief and loss, caring for the carer, legalities, services and more.

Our education services can also provide talks on request for social clubs or groups to raise awareness and understanding of dementia. 

Services are offered as fully funded by government.
