Meaningful Engagement in Dementia Care

This workshop will explore the importance of meaningful engagement for the individual and address the following:
  • how to plan in a person centred way 
  • the role of variety and spontaneity in tackling boredom 
  • how to create an engaging physical environment

People who are interested in providing good person centred care and are working in the community, or in residential care, who are supporting persons with dementia.
